Pacific Poker are giving seats to 35 online qualifiers to take part in the 888 Poker Open V tournament in Maidstone on 27th October – 7th November.

The 35 qualifiers will join 65 poker professionals and 8 celebrities in the tournament to compete for a prize fund of over £350,000 with the first prize being over £136,000.

Snooker world champion Ronnie ‘The Rocket’ O’Sullivan and former Aussie cricketer Shane Warne are just two of the celebrity players that will be competing in Maidstone. Poker professionals who have also confirmed they will be in attendance include, Andy Black, Neil Channing and Roland De Wolfe.

The pacific Poker site is holding online national poker tournaments on Thursday nights in the seven weeks leading up to the Poker Open V. The top 5 players from each country will progress to a weekly international final which will take place on Saturdays at 10am with the top players from this final booking their place at the Maidstone event.

As well as the UK the national tournaments are for, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the Rest of the World.

The 888 Poker Open V will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
